Maximum power, minimum weight

Designed for competition, the Newton SX pushes the standards of BMX Race cranksets. Built with advanced technologies, it delivers the perfect balance of stiffness, lightness, and reliability. From the first pedal stroke to the finish line, it turns every watt into performance.

Every Detail Matters

From the first pedal stroke to the finish line, power, precision, and reliability make the difference between winning and losing. The Newton SX crankset was designed with one goal in mind: delivering maximum performance, without compromise.

Engineered with cutting-edge technology and built to meet the demands of elite riders, this crankset strikes the perfect balance of strength, efficiency, and innovation. Designed for those who push their limits, the Newton SX delivers the responsiveness and reliability you need to dominate the track.

FEA

The Newton SX crankset is the result of an advanced engineering process based on Finite Element Analysis (FEA). This high-precision design method allows us to simulate real-world forces and stresses applied to the crankset, optimizing every detail of its structure.

In a discipline like BMX Race, where every watt of power counts, this technical approach ensures unmatched performance on the track.

  • Critical zones are identified and reinforced to ensure optimal power transfer, even under heavy load.
  • All excess material is removed, resulting in a lighter crankset without compromising stiffness.
  • Lateral flex is reduced for a more direct, responsive, and efficient pedaling experience.
  • Impact resistance is guaranteed, even in the extreme conditions of high-level competition.

The result? A crankset that maximizes power outputminimizes energy loss, and delivers explosive responsiveness from the start gate to the finish line.

High performance Aluminium

The Newton SX is forged from a high-performance 7000-series aluminum alloy, known for its outstanding mechanical properties. This material, widely used in demanding industries like aerospace, offers significantly greater stiffness than the 6000-series alloys commonly found in traditional cranksets.

Thanks to this ultra-strong foundation, the Newton SX features a competition-optimized structure, built to withstand the extreme demands of modern BMX Racing without sacrificing a single gram of performance.

  • Increased stiffness for better power transfer – Less lateral flex means that every watt you produce is directly converted into forward motion. You gain responsiveness and efficiency, especially during starts and sprints.
  • Enhanced durability and impact resistance – The crankset’s structure is built to endure explosive sprints, hard landings, and repeated high loads without deformation or long-term weakness.
  • Optimal structural consistency – Our exclusive “waffle” design ensures uniform wall thickness, better distribution of internal forces, and unmatched manufacturing precision for greater reliability and consistency.

Unlike hollow-forged designs, which are harder to control during manufacturing and may hide invisible weak points, our approach offers complete control over the crankset’s internal structure. This process ensures greater mechanical integrity, longer lifespan, and consistent performance—even after months of intense racing.

Integrated mounting system – Simplicity, security, and stiffness combined

Over the years, we’ve seen just how difficult it can be for many riders to find the right chainring bolt and nut length.

From bolts that are too short and break, to lost hardware or makeshift setups, the safety and reliability of the drivetrain are often compromised. Some riders even resorted to using zip ties to keep bolts from falling out mid-race!

To solve this issue, we developed a simple, effective, and secure solution: an integrated chainring spider mount, designed to make installation easier and ensure maximum stiffness.

✔️ Quick and easy chainring changes

No more fiddling with tiny bolts and nuts—just unscrew, swap the chainring, and you're good to go. A real time-saver, whether in the workshop or trackside.

✔️ No more bolt length guessing

With traditional systems, you have to match bolt size to the chainring thickness. Here, everything is integrated: a single, perfectly fitted format.

✔️ Controlled tightening

The interface is clean, secure, and designed for consistent, reliable tightening with no risk of deformation or play.

168 mm Q Factor – The perfect balance of power, stability, and efficiency

When it comes to performance, stiffness and weight are often the focus—but few riders realize how much Q Factor can impact their posture, efficiency, and overall comfort.

We’ve observed that many riders using cranksets that are too wide end up with a less natural pedaling position, leading to reduced efficiencypremature muscle fatigue, and even joint pain.

On the other hand, a Q Factor that’s too narrow can compromise bike stability, especially during powerful sprints or out of tight turns.

This is why the Newton SX features a 168 mm Q Factorspecifically optimized for BMX Race.

✔️ Optimal posture for performance

Your legs positioning are natural, aligned, and stable resulting in better muscle efficiency and power transfer.

✔️ Less fatigue, more fluid motion

A Q Factor that’s too wide or too narrow can lead to discomfort and early fatigue. At 168 mm, you enjoy a freer, longer-lasting pedaling motion.

✔️ Enhanced stability at high speed

This Q Factor helps you stay in control, even during sprints or powerful accelerations out of turns.
